Volunteering opportunities
Making Music London is run by volunteers. We meet approximately six times per year (in the evenings) and we're always on the look out for fresh talent.
Short-term / casual basis
We might need your help:
- leafleting
- stuffing envelopes
- meeting and greeting
- attending our members' events on our behalf
- being a point of contact for Making Music London
Become a committee member
Being a committee member is quite a commitment, but it can be an extremely rewarding and enjoyable experience too. Committee members invariably learn new skills as a result of their involvement, and generally make a good number of new friends along the way.
We need you to have:
- appreciation of the importance of amateur musical activity
- experience of how an amateur organisation is run, including committee operations
- common sense, the ability to be a team player and a sense of humour.
We are currently recruiting for:
- Chair (PDF)
- Treasurer (PDF)
- Equal Opportunities Representative (PDF)
- General committee members
For more information
If you're interested, please contact Frances Maxwell. Tell us a bit about yourself and what you might be interested in doing. Perhaps you could join us as an observer at our next meeting?
Our next meeting is Thursday 15 May 2008 at 7pm.
