Your city needs you!
6 May 2008
- Are you passionate about music-making?
- Could you help support the many thousands of voluntary musicians across the capital?
- Would you like to meet like-minded and sociable people of all ages and learn new skills along the way?
Making Music London Committee is looking to fill the following vacancies:
- Chair (PDF)
- Treasurer (PDF)
- Equal Opportunities Representative (PDF)
- General committee members
What would I be doing?
The committee follows an action plan which is created in collaboration with London's Regional Development Officers and Making Music UK (new window). Amongst the many things you might get involved in, here are some examples of what we currently do:
- run training events on topics including:
- marketing / audience development
- fundraising
- working with young people
- increasing membership
- improving performance standards
- put on a annual conference
- produce a tri-annual newsletter, London Harmony
- maintain and develop this website
- go out to dinners and concerts (at our own expense, but it's always fun!)
This is your opportunity to make a difference to music-making in the capital.
