FREE young musicians' workshop with James MacMillan - recruiting now

Music of Life Foundation provides high quality musical education and performance opportunities for youngsters with disabilities and special needs. They run workshops all over the UK and are currently recruiting for young composers, plus instrumentalists and singers to perform their music.

Who is involved?

Music of Life, Britten Sinfonia and James MacMillan

What's the format of the day?

Compositions submitted and selected in advance will be worked on by live players and singers with ongoing advice from leading composer James MacMillan. The workshop will conclude with a performance.

Who are we looking to recruit?

Instrumentalists and singers aged 8-25 to rehearse and perform these compositions alongside members of Britten Sinfonia.
We also have space for up to two more composers, who will need to submit works in advance - please contact us for further information on deadlines and instrumentation.

How much will it cost?

The day is absolutely FREE but you must book a place with Music of Life in advance.
