Office Choir & Musician of the Year
Competition Final 2010

It’s official – music in the workplace is on the up. Now, for the first time, there is a competition specially tailored to office choirs and amateur musicians.

Who is involved?

Fifteen workplaces, ranging from law firms to hospitals, have stepped up to the challenge. Some are seasoned veterans – John Lewis boasts a music society that was established over 100 years ago – whereas others have formed especially for the competition.

What has happened so far?

The emphasis is on fun and accessibility – participating choirs recently met at MIO’s exclusive multi-choir workshops, run by prestigious choral director and adjudicator David Lawrence. They are now limbering up for the approaching heats, following which four finalist choirs will compete in front of a prestigious panel of adjudicators including Emma Johnson and Lady Suzi Digby OBE.

When is it?

Competition Final: 16 March 2010, 7pm at King’s Place - Click here to book tickets
