FUNDING

The Co-operative Membership Community Fund is a Co-operative Charitable Foundation grant scheme that helps local communities throughout the UK. To be successful, a group must carry out positive work in the community and a project must:
• address a community issue
• provide a good long-term benefit to the community
• support co-operative values and principles
• ideally be innovative in its approach.
Grants are between £100 - £2000

The C Charitable Trust is a grant-making charity and has wide-ranging charitable objectives. It normally takes 12 weeks from application to applicants being informed of the trustees' decision. Please note that less than 10% of all applications are successful. There are no application deadlines; trustees make grant decisions on a monthly basis. The Trust is open to applications from organisations across the spectrum of the voluntary and community sector.

The Foyle Foundation Small Grants Programme: small charities operating in the areas of the arts and learning that have an annual turnover of less than £100,000 per annum can apply for funding of between £1,000 and £10,000. The Foundation, which is one of the largest grant-making trusts in the UK, provides grants that are helping to make the arts more accessible by developing new audiences, supporting tours, festivals and arts educational projects; encouraging new work and supporting young and emerging artists; and that address special educational needs and learning difficulties. Applications can be submitted at any time.
