Sunday 12th - at 2.30pm. Islington Chinese Association, 21 Hatchard Road, London N19 4NG. London Jing Kun Opera Association, and Jingju and Kunqu Ensemble, present Beijing opera and Kunqu opera performance and recital with English and Chinese subtitles. Tickets: £4. October 2010

Saturday 16th - at 7.30pm. St. John's, Smith Square, SW1. Purcell Singers & Orchestra perform J. S. Bach's St. John Passion. All proceeds from the concert will go to The Yellow Heart Trust to help those with unresolved trauma. Tickets: £25, £20, £15 (conc. £20, £16, £12).
